What are the classification methods of templates

1、 Classification by material

According to the different materials used, the formwork is divided into wood formwork, steel wood formwork, steel formwork, steel bamboo formwork, plywood formwork, plastic formwork, FRP formwork, aluminum alloy formwork, etc.

2、 Classification by structure type

Various cast-in-place reinforced concrete structural members have different shapes, sizes and structures, as well as different formwork structures and assembly methods, forming their own characteristics. According to the type of structure, templates are divided into: foundation template, column template, beam template, floor template, stair template, wall template, shell template, chimney template and so on.

3、 Classification by construction method

1. Field assembled and disassembled formwork. The formwork assembled on site according to the structural shape, size and spatial position required by the design shall be removed after the concrete reaches the formwork removal strength. The on-site assembling and disassembling formworks are mostly shaped formworks and tool type supports.

2. Fixed formwork. Formwork for prefabricated components. The formwork shall be fabricated on site or in the prefabrication plant according to the shape and size of the components. Various formworks (earth formworks, brick formworks, concrete formworks) are fixed formworks.

3. Mobile formwork. With the pouring of concrete, the formwork can move along the vertical or horizontal direction, which is called mobile formwork. For example, the sliding formwork, lifting formwork and horizontal movable formwork used in chimney, water tower and wall column concrete pouring.
